A boy you see every day.
Every day, you see him alone
at school, on your bus, in the back of the room.
A boy you know in no way.
No way, you can't talk to him
even though you want to, need to, yearn to.
A boy you want to meet.
Meet him, pulled by something you can't decide
maybe his looks, his demeanor, his eyes.
A boy you look at before glancing at your feet.
Your feet, because he caught you looking his way
And he smiled, happily, and waved.
A boy you finally decide to greet.
But wait, he's not in the normal place by his lockers?
He's not at school, on the bus, he's nowhere at all in the room.
Where can you find him?
So you ask around, but no one even knows his last name,
no one on the bus knows where exactly he lives,
not even the teacher can answer.
Then, the next day, you're walking to the bus you both once road.
You look on the ground where the paper lays.
And you see his picture.
A picture with the word 'accident' above.
The boy you saw every day.
The boy you knew in no way.
The boy you wanted to meet.
The boy who made you look at your feet.
The boy you had finally decided to greet.
He died in a car crash with his father just yesterday.
And now your chance has been taken away.

Just a Note.
I promised to myself I would try to write something every day, so I really plan on it. I found a website, by the way, that has to do with the Generation Dead series. So far, there are three. mysocalledundeath.com, danielwaters.com, and if you go to daniel's page, It will have a link on the right that says 'Haunted House'. It's a forum to talk about things involving the series, and a few others. It's actually pretty interesting, and I don't usually like forums. I even wrote a spur of the moment poem on there. You should check it out! I need more people to talk to on there. Adios!

To Explain the Name.
"Living impaired" is a phrase I learned from a book named Generation Dead by Daniel Waters. A wonderful book from which I have gotten phrases, music, and an outlook form. You see, the phrase is used to describe teenagers who come back to live after death. I haven't died, but I've gone through a few hard ordeals, and I've come back at different rates, just like the living impaired, or zombies, in Waters's book(s). Another reason is going through life, I've always been a clumsy, awkward person, and I have a hard time doing what I want because I think too much to do much on impulse, so I feel as though I have a harder time going through life than a few of my easy going friends. So for these reasons, I have always felt a little living impaired, so the title just stuck. Oh, and a trad is a traditionally biotic, or someone who's never died, just so you know.
And I don't think I'm the only one, I'd love to hear that I'm not the only one who feels this way!
Loads of love, and Daniel Waters, I love your work.
Vampires and werewolfs..Pshh!
Give me a zombie any time of the day! You're a savior, I've been looking for a great zombie book for a while, so you lit up my world with your book. Can't wait to get the sequel!
Anyway, that raps it up!
